Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Declaring the correct nature and value of goods
  • Ensuring proper packaging and labeling
  • Providing valid recipient contact information
  • Supplying all required customs and shipping documentation

BlueRock Cargo shall not be held liable for delays, losses, penalties, or additional costs caused by inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the customer.

Prohibited & Restricted Items

Customers must not ship items prohibited by international law, airline regulations, customs authorities, or destination-country restrictions.

Prohibited items may include but are not limited to:

  • Illegal drugs or narcotics
  • Weapons, firearms, or explosives
  • Hazardous or flammable materials
  • Counterfeit goods
  • Perishable or restricted products
  • Items prohibited by import/export laws

BlueRock Cargo reserves the right to inspect, reject, hold, or report suspicious shipments to the relevant authorities where required by law.

Customs & International Compliance

All international shipments are subject to customs inspections and import/export regulations of the origin and destination countries.

Customers are solely responsible for:

  • Customs duties and taxes
  • Import permits or licenses
  • Compliance with destination-country regulations
  • Any fines, penalties, or confiscations resulting from non-compliance

BlueRock Cargo is not responsible for customs delays, inspections, or clearance refusals imposed by government authorities.

Delivery & Transit Times

Estimated delivery times are provided for reference only and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to:

  • Customs processing
  • Weather conditions
  • Transportation disruptions
  • Government actions or restrictions
  • Airline, port, or carrier delays
  • Force majeure events beyond reasonable control

BlueRock Cargo will make every reasonable effort to ensure timely delivery but shall not be liable for delays outside its operational control.

Shipment Liability

BlueRock Cargo handles shipments with professional care and industry-standard procedures. However, liability for loss, damage, or delay is limited in accordance with applicable international transport conventions and carrier regulations.

Customers are strongly advised to obtain cargo insurance for high-value, fragile, or time-sensitive shipments.

Compensation claims may require:

Packaging Requirements

Customers are responsible for ensuring that shipments are securely packaged to withstand normal transportation handling conditions.

BlueRock Cargo reserves the right to refuse improperly packaged cargo that may pose risks to other shipments, personnel, or transportation equipment.

Payments & Charges

All shipping charges, customs duties, taxes, storage fees, handling charges, and related service costs must be paid in full according to agreed payment terms.

Additional charges may apply for:

  • Storage delays
  • Customs inspections
  • Re-delivery attempts
  • Address corrections
  • Oversized or overweight cargo

Failure to complete payment may result in shipment suspension, storage holds, or cancellation of services.

Warehouse & Storage

Cargo stored within BlueRock Cargo facilities is handled under professional security and operational standards. Storage fees may apply for cargo not collected within the agreed timeframe.

Unclaimed or abandoned shipments may be disposed of in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Privacy & Data Protection

BlueRock Cargo respects customer privacy and handles personal information responsibly. Customer data is used solely for logistics operations, shipment processing, communication, security, and legal compliance purposes.

We do not sell or unlawfully distribute customer information to third parties.

Limitation of Liability

BlueRock Cargo shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages including loss of profits, business interruption, or reputational damages arising from the use of our services.

Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted under applicable transportation and international shipping laws.
